The EPA presented the honors to Samsung and other winners through a virtual award ceremony for its SMM Electronics Challenge 2021 program last week. The Korean firm has received the EPA SMM Gold Tier Award for the eighth consecutive year — since the program’s inception in 2014. That reflects the company’s excellence in e-waste recycling. According to Samsung, it collects and recycles an average of 100 million pounds of e-waste per year in the US....

The latest beta bears the firmware version ‘ZULB’ and should be hitting the Galaxy Note 20, provided the owners are enrolled in Samsung’s beta program. The update doesn’t bring many new features, but it fixes a handful of bugs. The update for the Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra is currently appearing in South Korea. However, it shouldn’t take long for global users to find this new beta release on their respective phones....

This is quite an optimistic outlook as the smart contact lenses have hardly made it beyond concepts so far. Even smart glasses haven’t picked up much traction yet despite a few years of existence. People haven’t understood what smart glasses are useful for. However, the research firm sees several tech biggies actively working on smart contact lens technologies. Perhaps it sees high consumer demand for smart contact lenses in the market too....

Founded in 2004, it boasts over 325,000 audiobooks from publishers all over the world. These include titles from some of the largest publishing houses as well as independent authors. It also supports more than 80 different localized languages from various corners of the earth....

First spotted by 9to5Google, Spotify lyrics on the Nest Hub are available to both Free and Premium users. The lyrics button appears next to the heart/favorite button on the bottom right corner of the screen when viewing fullscreen media controls. Tapping this button replaces the background image with real-time lyrics synced with the track. The auto-scrolling text highlights the current vocal line at the center of the screen. If there’s no vocal but only music, you’ll see a beamed musical notation....
