A few days ago, several major platforms announced they are preventing Russian state media from running ads. Meta, Twitter, Google were initiatives. YouTube also said that it won’t allow Russian state media to make money through showing ads. Roku is taking the same path and removing Russia’s RT channel from its platform. This channel was initially unavailable to European Roku users. RT and Sputnik are two great Russian-affiliated media that are operating globally....

As of this writing, the second Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra is available to enrolled users in India and the UK (via). Perhaps users in the US have already received this build, albeit with the first release. The beta program for the Galaxy S21 series recently opened stateside. The first beta build for users in the US contained more than what users in other regions received....

The short and sweet video has some interesting information in it, however, a fair bit of it was just PR speak and announcing features that have been out for years. As for the solid information, the video stated that this SoC is built on a 4nm process....

Samsung will continue to be the leading smartphone vendor globally with a market share of 20 percent. The firm expects the Korean company to ship 276 million smartphones next year. Foldables will play an integral role in its growth. However, Samsung’s losing the battle in the low-end segment and will find it difficult to retain market share in subsequent years. Apple is expected to be the second-biggest smartphone company next year with an 18 percent market share and a shipment volume of 243 million units....

Currently, if you want to play games through the Stadia mobile app, you can either use the integrated touch controls (which also seem to be getting some improvements), or a connected wireless or wired controller. Both of these are great options. However, motion controls would be an intuitive way to play certain games. Obviously, this probably wouldn’t be perfect for every game. We wouldn’t suggest playing DOOM Eternal with motion controls for instance....
