Samsung is reportedly making the omission due to cost-cutting measures. Previous reports indicated that the company’s mobile team wanted to use vapor chamber cooling for the upcoming Exynos chipset to bolster overall performance. Reports suggest that this new Exynos chipset will utilize an AMD GPU. By contrast, Samsung was shipping over 30 million units of the Galaxy S lineup per year until 2019. But as The Elec points out, an estimate of 20 million shipments of the Galaxy S22 series is still an upgrade over last year’s Galaxy S21 series....
